The Power of the Cross

I would like to thank the Lord God for giving me this opportunity to come back on this blogging after a long time. March has been a month that I went through trials but because of keeping on declaring that Jesus paid it all when he was crucified on the cross, buried and rose on the third day, I found myself being shifted from what seemed impossible. Some challenges could be obstructions keeping you from what God has called you to do. What do we do when we encounter these obstructions? Do we wait until they vanish in order for us to pursue our destiny? What I have learnt in my experience is; the more we pay attention to challenges instead of feeding our spirit with the Word of God it is possible to lose focus on what is important to us. When we lose focus, our minds start attracting negative forces which give birth to fear and self condemnation. When we accept fear, we will have accepted it in the spirit. Because we will have accepted in the spirit, physical body becomes affected; loosing appetite, fatigue, lack of sleep etc. This is where we find that even mature people in the things of God can go under attack and with confusion, they can get advise from other people to look for help outside the story of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The story of Jesus Christ makes us understand why God sent His Son Jesus Christ to come and be a sacrificial for us. In every challenge be it in marriage, children, business, work place etc. We need to focus on Jesus, our author and perfecter of our faith. "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2)(NKJV).
