My Testimony
Today is my birthday! I thank God for His love and protection! I would like to share my testimony with you. In January I posted on Facebook that Jesus healed me. Today being my birthday, would like to take this opportunity to share my testimony. As I was in my usual business of studies, I went into confusion for a couple of days but, in that confusion I managed doing my Uni work as well as driving to and fro. How I managed driving in busy traffic I do not have any clue. It can only be God who was protecting me. One thing I can say is, for many years I only play gospel music in my car and I do praise and worship as I drive.
On the 16th of December 2020 whilst I was in my house busy with my assignments, I got worse. Because I was busy with my assignments, I had pleaded with my family and friends not to disturb me with calls until certain time, as I was concentrating on my course work. Now on the 16th as I got worse, I didn't know I wasn't well but I was not well. I spent three days in my house neither sleeping, drinking nor eating. But the whole house lights were on for three days and my car parked outside the house. During the three days in that confusion, Jesus showed up. I was shown two standing lights, (very bright!!!) one taller and the other one shorter. The taller light I was told, "I am the light of the world." On the shorter light I was told, "You are the light of the world, go and show the light." I was told, "When you find yourself in a situation where you don't understand just call the Name of Jesus! Say Jesus! HELP ME! JESUS HELP ME!" I was even prompted to call the Name of Jesus for help louder, (being on training), which I did open my mouth calling Jesus for help.
Now! my phone battery had gone dead, did not even think of charging my phone and had nothing to do with it. No one could get hold of me, having had three days without me contacting anyone and that raised a bell that something was not right. As no one could get hold of me by phone, even access into my house was not possible as I locked myself inside. Police had to be called to break my house door and the ambulance was called. I had dehydrated and rushed to hospital where I was admitted. I stayed in hospital upto the 26th of December but, on this day during early hours, nurse in charge in the ward I was had a terrible cough. I was prompted to call the her and ask if I could pray with her. As I called her she walked to my bedside and she accepted and I prayed with her and instantly she received her healing!
No matter what/where we find ourselves in, Jesus is with us. Now! what I went through under that confusion, I see myself what was happening. I see myself like watching a movie because I am aware of what was happening and vividly how I was trained to call Jesus for help. Deuteronomy 13:5 says, "Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you." Even in this lockdown we are not alone, God is with us. He makes a way where there's no way! He will walk with us through it all. He was with me throughout the confusion and trained me what to bring out of my mouth i.e. calling the Name of Jesus for help. My question to you today is, "What is it that you are going through in your personal life? Do you see as God has forgotten you/not answering you? He is right there with you where you are right now! Keep calling the Name of Jesus and you will be saved! Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no on else, for there is no other Name under Heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved."
